Support
Quasar is built by people who go outside. If something’s broken, confusing, or missing, we want to hear about it.
01Get in touch
Email us and we’ll get back to you:
We’re a small team based in New Zealand and usually reply within a few business days.
02Reporting a bug
The more of this you can include, the faster we can reproduce and fix it:
- What happened, and what you expected instead
- Steps to reproduce — what you tapped, in order
- Device & OS — e.g. iPhone 15 / iOS 18, or Pixel 8 / Android 15, or web browser
- App version — shown in the app’s settings
- Where — the map area or feature involved (a screenshot helps)
- Connectivity — were you online, offline, or out of coverage?
If it’s a safety-relevant map error — a track, hazard or depth that looks wrong — please tell us where and what you saw. It helps everyone who comes after you.
03Policies
The legal bits, in plain English:
- Privacy Policy — what we collect and why
- Terms of Use — including the safety disclaimer
In an emergency, do not email us. Contact emergency services — dial 111 in New Zealand — or activate your distress beacon. Quasar is not a communications or rescue service.
